SKY H1’s long-awaited debut album Azure, released on AD 93, builds on the hybrid sound that brought her early acclaim, blending drum and bass, grime, dubstep, and techno with pop-leaning structures. The album unfolds as a delicate and imaginative exploration of form and emotion, with its title dedicated to the memory of her mother and track names referencing the iconic Access Virus synthesiser that defined much of early-2000s electronic music.
