Clubroot (II – MMX) is the 2010 second album by UK dubstep/electronic producer Clubroot (Dan Richmond), blending deep, brooding bass, ambient textures and UK garage‑inflected rhythms into a dark, immersive soundscape rooted in early dubstep aesthetics.

Hecq is Ben Lukas Boysen, an electronic music composer from Berlin who mixed various electronic genres such as IDM, breakcore and dubstep and released his releases on Hymen Records and Ad Noiseam.

Scorn is the project of Mick Harris of Napalm Death, Painkiller, Lull, and Quoit.

Venetian Snares twists Black Sabbath classics into mutant dub remixes on Kriss Records, the label run by Bong‑Ra.

The album includes a few short stories written by Subheim during the album development which functioned as guiding lights for some of the tracks.

Ad Noiseam is a Berlin-based independent record label founded in 2001, focused on electronic music such as breakcore, experimental, drum’n’bass, IDM, and dubstep, while also touching on hip-hop and jazz. Founded by Nicolas Chevreux as a webzine, it soon evolved into a record label.

Since exploding onto the scene in 2008, Broken Note has followed a path of unrelenting sonic carnage across the globe and has cemented his uniquely heavy sound as an iconic mark on electronic music today.
