“Drukqs” is a double album by Richard D. James, aka Aphex Twin, released in 2001 via Warp Records as a sprawling contrast between meticulously programmed drill’n’bass and delicate, Satie-esque prepared piano compositions. It remains one of his most complex works, famously featuring the piece "Avril 14th" alongside high-velocity rhythmic structures that solidified James' status as a definitive figure in contemporary experimental music.
